Simple ingredients, made slowly.
Wink & Rise is a small home bakery in Meridian run by Victoria. Every loaf is naturally leavened with a sourdough starter and given time to ferment, which builds flavor, a crackly crust and a soft, open crumb.
We use organic, unbleached flour and filtered water, and never commercial yeast. Our breads are baked fresh to order, so each one is made for you.

Meet the baker
Hi! I'm Victoria!
I'm a mom of two littles, and I started baking sourdough shortly after my oldest was born. I wanted a tasty, clean bread for her and our family that wasn't filled with a laundry list of ingredients. Since then I've absolutely fallen in love with sourdough, and now I want to share the bread I bake with my community. That's why I started Wink & Rise Organic Sourdough Bakery.
Apart from baking, I love spending time with my family and enjoying the outdoors. Nothing has brought me more joy than becoming a mom, and I truly love the time I get with my kids and watching them grow.

How much notice do you need?
Two days from order to pickup. Each loaf is baked fresh for your order.
Can you slice my loaf?
Yes. Just ask for it sliced when you order.
Where do I pick up?
Pickup is in north Meridian, near McMillan Rd and Meridian Rd. We'll text you the exact pickup spot and time when we confirm your order.
How should I store my bread?
Keep it cut side down on a board or in a bread bag for a day or two. To keep it longer, slice and freeze it, then toast slices straight from the freezer.
Do you serve Boise and the rest of the Treasure Valley?
Yes. Anyone in the Treasure Valley is welcome to order, whether you live in Meridian, Boise, Eagle, Star, Kuna, Nampa or Caldwell. Pickup is in north Meridian near McMillan Rd and Meridian Rd.
Do you make large or holiday orders?
Yes. Message us with what you need and your date, and we'll let you know what we can do. Holiday pumpkin loaves are by preorder.
Are your products allergen-free?
No. All our bread contains wheat, and the hamburger buns also contain milk and eggs. Everything is made in a home kitchen that may also handle other allergens.
Is your kitchen inspected?
We bake from our home kitchen under Idaho's Direct-to-Consumer Commerce Act, which lets home bakers sell directly to Idaho customers. This product is not subject to government food safety inspection or licensing requirements. It may contain allergens. Every loaf is labeled with its ingredients.
